Snowmobile safari to Sierijärvi Reindeer farm (Min. 2 people)

1,5 h Snowmobiling, 2,5 km reindeer sleigh ride + lunch + ice-fishing



Experience the thrilling excitement of snowmobiling through snowy forests and beautiful nature combined with a reindeer farm visit and ice-fishing experience!



Our guide first gives you a brief introduction to snowmobiling after which he/she will lead you to the wilderness. On this excursion you can forget all your hurries. The thrilling snowmobile ride through beautiful snowy landscapes will take you to experience a very special part of Finnish culture on a remote frozen lake.



At the lake you will meet local reindeer herders, who will show you their home, a real reindeer farm by lake Sieri, You will learn a lot about nature and reindeer and you can have a sleigh ride with the reindeer. After delicious lunch at the farm, we will train our patience and with a bit of luck we might also be rewarded with a catch. For countless Finns and foreigners ice-fishing is not only a way of feeding oneself. Listening to silence and enjoying fresh air is like meditation.



Our group sizes are small and the speed and the length of the safari depend on each group. This is why this safari suits for those who are looking for a real adrenaline boost as well as for healthy adventurous families with bigger children. We don’t recommend this safari for the smallest children as the day includes a lot of snowmobiling and the sledge would slow down the speed. The duration of the day is 5-6 hours depending on the group.



Fee includes: Pick-up and drop-off (from the city center of Rovaniemi), fuel, guide services, thermal overalls, snowmobiling equipment, ~1,5 hours of snowmobiling, visit to reindeer farm, 2,5 km reindeer sleigh ride, delicious lunch and ice-fishing equipment with guidance.



Child rates: children of 0-3 years are free of charge. Children 4-12 are subject to child rates specified in the product information. Youngsters aged 13+ are subject to adult prices.
